wedding bells

as much as i tried to force myself to workout (sort of...) it just didn't end up happening tonight :( i tend to get disappointed in myself when i miss a scheduled workout, but i have to remember that it's not the end of the world, and in the big scheme of things it's not going to make much of a difference, or affect my performance in the half at the end of the month.

i also have to remember that sometimes life happens, and you just need to skip a workout because of other things going on. running is a huge part of my life, but i also don't want it to take over. there has to be a balance, and i still want to have a life and go out, and see my friends.

tomorrow's a new day, and i'll pick up the week's workouts with intervals! hopefully having a day to rest will leave me invigorated and i'll have a great workout tomorrow morning.

tonight i ended up coming home from work and spending most of the evening creating our wedding web site! it's not quite finished, but it's almost there! i took a little break to make dinner, which was a beefed-up version of the leftover ravioli from saturday night.

i marinated the last of my tofu in olive oil, basil, garlic powder and italian seasoning and baked i, and i sauteed some asparagus and mushrooms in cooking spray with garlic. i added the tofu and veggies to the ravioli, and topped it with some tomato sauce and basil, and a sprinkle of pecorino romano cheese. it was delicious- and really filling!

i also had a snack this afternoon around 3:30, so i wasn't starving when i had dinner. i had 1 indivudal container of fat free vanilla chobani yogurt, and about 3 tsps of granola, which i made myself from "Mix My Granola."

somehow, i still made room for desert!
