after hearing my friend rave about doing home workout dvds for strength training, i decided i should give it a try to change things up a bit. she loved jillian michael's "no more trouble zones."
being that my living room is pretty small, i decided to look up some of jillian's other dvds. i've heard a lot of good things about the 30 day shred, and it seemed like i'd have enough space to do that workout in my shoebox.
so, yesterday, may 1st, i started the 30 day challenge! i hope to do this video every day. it's only 20 minutes, so it should be easy to fit it in and also be able to do cardio. yesterday was a strength day, so i actually did the workout twice, which was good.
it has 3 levels, and i started at level 1, which was still pretty challenging considering the fact i've been doing total body conditioning classes at the gym. i used 3 lb and 5lb weights, but also want to get a set of 8lb weights.
i think i'll stick with level 1 for a few days, and move on to level 2 on monday.
